Yield: about 3 cups


  • 1 1/3 cups BakeGood Granular Sweetener

  • 1 1.75oz box sugar free pectin

  • 1 cup water

  • 4 cups mixed berries, crushed*

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 whole star anise, optional

  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

  • *note: if using frozen berries, defrost, crush then measure


  1. In a heavy saucepan, whisk together the BakeGood Granular Sweetener and sugar free pectin.
  2. Switch to a rubber spatula and stir in the water, salt, star anise (if using), cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Bring to a boil and set a timer for 2 minutes once the mixture comes to a rolling boil.
  4. Add the crushed berries, stir to combine and bring back to a rolling boil for 2 minutes.
  5. Jam can be refrigerated up to a month, frozen up to 3 months or water bath canned for longer storage.
