Apple Filling
  • 1 Jar Bakegood Unsweetened Apple Pie Filling
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar*
Coffee Cake Batter
  • 1 1/2cup BakeGood Almond Flour Blend**

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Cinnamon Crumb Topping
  • 1/2 cup BakeGood Almond Flour Blend**

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened


Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 8×8 inch square pan.

Apple filling –In a bowl, mix together BakeGood unsweetened apple pie filling with sugar. Set aside.

Coffee cake batter –In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and butter using a fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in egg, yogurt, and vanilla until just mixed. Set aside.

Cinnamon Crumb Topping –In a small bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and butter using fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Assembly –Evenly spread half of the batter onto the bottom of the greased pan. Layer with filling mixture and then remaining of the batter. Cover the top with crumb topping.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.

*Sweetener Options – adjust sugar amount or sweetener type, based on your liking.
